THE CHALLENGE
How can we make a visit to a botanical garden more engaging and informative?
The Botanical Garden of Pavia was looking for a tool that could guide visitors along their route, transforming the walk into an educational and interactive experience. The client didn't have a precise idea of the final form, so the project was developed in parallel with the design phase.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
An app for learning and having fun, suitable for everyone.
We combined design and technology to build an app that was both a game and a guide. After a mockup phase and research on the most suitable assets, we moved on to development in Flutter with a Firebase backend, iterating with the client until we found the formula that best suited the audience.
The result is a mobile web app with anonymous login, group games of varying difficulty, and three types of quizzes distributed across ten locations throughout the garden. Everything is accompanied by a general leaderboard, making the experience more engaging and competitive.
