Production Planning Engine

Automation and streamlining of the planning and management of orders received within a company in the confectionery sector. In particular, the need was to abandon the manual management of this process in order to start a first phase of company reorganization and digitalization.

Description of activities

Requirements collection and manual as-is flow, definition of the logics to be automated, implementation of the operational research model of the optimal planning solution. Creation of a front-end on Flask framework for monitoring and launching simulations. Solution deployed on Azure cloud architecture. Creation of CI/CD pipelines for automating releases and fixing features.
